the companies that WANT you on the platform are the companies that are SELLING YOU TO ADVERTISERS.
*Facebook* wants you on their platform. *Tumblr* wants you on their platform. *FF.net* wants you on their platform. You are Facebook’s product. Facebook is not a service to you. It is an incentive for you to give them eyes and data to sell. And the second your eyes and data stop being profitable they will toss you under the bus.
That’s why fans made AO3. So we had a space that was ours, that wasn’t profiting off of us, so we wouldn’t get sold out.
If you don’t like the way a site is treating you as a product. Get upset with the advertisers and attack them. If you follow the money, you will always know who is in charge.

Trying to migrate lokiwholockfactory@tumblr to WordPress to function as a legacy blog, but I don’t think 170k+ posts can fit the free trial space. May have to abort the import.
I may still need to shut down Lokiwholockfactory before Dec 14 because I will be off PC and on mobile for the holidays. I don’t know what to expect post Dec 17. Tumblr may mute me as I am explicit.
Upon shutting down LoWho (may keep the name, I will just empty the blog), I will redirect all traffic to @lowhostrikesback which will become my active blog.
